Varian Semiconductor is the leader in semiconductor product training worldwide, we take pride in our professional staff, and we listen to our customers and assist them in meeting their technical training needs. We offer a full range of technical training, from the basic operation and maintenance of the toolset to electronic troubleshooting and alignments. Training is available for all ion implanter products manufactured at Varian Semiconductor (medium current, high current, and high energy tools), with specialized courses available in process applications.

What is "Blended Learning"?
The growth of technology and the use of the Internet have provided many exciting opportunities for training our customers and our field service engineers to support our ion implanters. These new technology-based solutions can provide an effective way to learn about the equipment in both a time and cost effective manner. In addition, on-line methods offer many advantages to our students including the ability to work at their own pace, review areas they need extra help with and have access to critical information whenever they need it 24 hours a day. By combining both on-line and traditional classroom methods, we can offer a great learning experience that takes advantage of the benefits of each method to meet the needs of all learning styles. This new combination of training methods is called Blended Learning.
How is VSEA using Blended Learning?
Our Blended Learning programs combine any combination of these methods to fully prepare the students to successfully support our Ion Implanters and remain proficient into the future.
